  Individual Contributions

 
 

Our supporters in UK, US and other developed countries are informed of the overall developmental tasks for the communities and marginalised, destitute populations. The individuals make contributions towards these causes. Under our Individual Contribution Programme, each contributor makes a contribution annually for a period of 3 years that goes in the welfare of child, women or men of the selected community. The donors are kept abreast with the improvements their contributions are making in the life of the beneficiaries through newsletters, mailers and individual letters, emails etc.

 
 

Corporate Support

 
 

The khushii team makes presentations to the corporate from time to time about the developmental tasks around our communities and the required support. These presentations not only serve in sensitising the concerned corporate but also fetch their support towards the causes addressed by us. Under our Corporate Support Programme we have been able to enlist support from various leading corporate of India and the multinational companies. For the corporate and companies supporting khushii’s programmes and projects goes a long way in establishing their responsibility towards the social causes.

 
  Child Sponsorship Programme

 
 

khushii has been actively involving in the care and protection of marginalized and destitute children across the metropolis of Delhi and in the rural areas. Every child associated with khushii’s projects is expected sponsored by individual donors interested in providing financial support for their quality care, education, nutrition, clothing, foster care etc. Under CSP, prospective donors are provided with the individual case studies and growth record of each child they are supporting. They also receive mailers and greetings from the children concerned.

 
  Fund Raising Events

 
 

khushii, supported by its well-wishers and helpful corporate and individuals, organises fund raising events from time to time. In this line, khushii has successfully organised musical nights, sports events and game shows with the help of various celebrities, donors and corporates associated with it. These programmes have been very helpful in raising funds for strengthening organisational activities and projects.

 
  Donation Boxes

 
 

Under this activity, khushii buys, transparent boxes made of plastic and get khushii’s objectives printed on them. These boxes, along with information about khushii’s outreach and activities are placed on the cash counters or other important places in various shops, market places and shopping malls across the metropolis of Delhi. The donation boxes are a good source of information and sensitisation for the buyers and shoppers and fetch considerable sum of donation as well, which go a long way in supporting action for marginalized communities and the destitute. Although it is tough to reach such donors with focussed information about the utilization of their contribution, but khushii strives hard to get them abreast with the developments achieved by placing reports, mailers and success stories back in the same shops.

 
  Information and Sale Stalls

 
 

In order to reach general public in India and abroad, khushii has adopted a strategy to put up information and sale stalls at market places, offices, exhibitions and events. These stalls are provided with printed materials containing information about the communities for which khushii is working and the resources required. The stalls also exhibit products made by community women in their Self Help Groups. When people buy these products, the money thus generated goes in the strengthening of the groups and helps the self-reliance of associated women and their families.

 
  Door to door campaigns

 
 

Under this component for fund raising khushii has formed linkages with philanthropist groups involved in fund raising and charity in Britain. With the help of these groups, a volunteer bank has been created which conducts door-to-door campaigns, school awareness and institutional promotions about khushii’s initiatives and products made by self help groups in India, thus sensitising people and enlisting their support.
