KHUSHII, in association with the Rotary Club, Chanakya Puri, had taken a small initiative to revive Tharangambadi, a village, which is amongst the most affected areas of the Tsunami, hit region.
Tharangambadi in Nagappattinam district, Tamil Nadu where out of 1300 fishermen’s families, 1215 have lost their homes to this disaster. They had appealed to us to rebuild their homes.

KHUSHII had organized a mass walk ‘Light For Life’ on 6th February 2005 from the Lodhi Gardens, Gate no.4 to Claridges Hotel starting at 3:30 pm-5:00 pm ending with a high-tea, in memory of the victims
of the mass destruction caused by Tsunami.
