“Zen Katha” a play held on 4th Nov 2004, at the
British High Commissoners residence. It was
directed by Ms. Lillete Dubey,and was the fascinating
story of Bodhidharma, the true founder of Zen and
Martial Arts, as we know them today, followed by “Art
with a Smile” an art auction in collaboration with the
Delhi Art Gallery. This event was held in aid of the
Sadhu Sunder Singh Welfare Society to help raise
funds to pay for the construction cost of building a
new orphanage under the name and style of
‘Hamara Ghar’, which will benefit the existing 106
children residing in Bal Vihar and many more in the
city of New Delhi.

Master of ceremonies for the event was popular
stand up comedian Vir Das, and the art auction was
conducted by Suhel Seth, Tarun Tahiliani and Kapil
Dev and Priya Sachdev.

On the same occasion an art auction along with the
Delhi Art Gallery was organized where fine collection
of artworks by eminent artists like M.F Hussain,
Manjeet Bawa, Satish Gujral, Bimal Dasgupta were
auctioned to raise money for our Orphanage project
“Hamaara Ghar”.
