Born in 1958 in Pune, Madhuri Bhaduri is a successful artist that has been exhibiting her art work
all across the globe since the past four decades. During her school and college years, she played
Badminton and Squash at the national level and even pursued a diploma in French at Alliance
Francaise de Pune for three years. She dabbled in Hotel Management for sometime and
completed a specialised course in Baking and Housekeeping from FCI, Pune.

Although she primarily works in oil paintings, in recent times, she has even experimented with
unique sculptures and murals using scrap metal and other waste material. To get more familiar
with the art world, she completed a short course in Finance and Art Market from Sotheby’s
Institute of Art in London in 2016.

Over the years, her work has been featured in nearly 50 solo exhibitions and 100 plus group
shows in renowned art galleries all across the globe, right from ones in New York to those in
Delhi. She has also participated in art fairs and expositions in India and abroad. Her paintings and
art works are held in over 400 collections owned by discerning institutions and individual
connoisseurs.

National Institute of Fine Arts (NIFA) New Delhi, the Exceptional Woman of Excellence in Art
award from the Women’s Economic Forum (WEF) at The Hague, Netherlands and Bharat
Nirman Foundation’s entrepreneur of the year award in 2018, among others. Not only does she
adjudicate for art competitions but also gives lectures, conducts workshops and participates in art
camps, residencies, panel discussions and radio shows. Her work has been featured extensively in
