Art & Event

Khushii’s Art & Events team works solely on our fundraising events and creating interesting, interactive, and conceptually unique activities for our donors and patrons.

Art has always played a significant role in our fundraising events, the first step being taken in 2006, under the guidance of our Chief Patron, Mr. Aman Nath, Art Historian, Writer and Founder of Neemrana Hotels, with the exclusive concept, India on Canvas – Khushii’s most well-known fundraiser, where celebrities and eminent artists share a canvas and created spectacular artwork auctioned by Sotheby’s to raise funds for our NGO.

Some of our other art events include:

One of our most-awaited fundraising art initiatives, the USP of Khushii’s Artloot is that all the works available are priced significantly less than the market prices offering heavy discounts. Over the years, the concept has been tweaked to fall in-sync with the “digital era” and an Annual Artloot is conducted on WhatsApp!

The Art Stories

The Art Stories Exhibition focusses on displaying a variety of Homegrown Indian Artists. The Artworks included in the showcase fall under varied themes and include sculptures, wall-hangings, paintings and interesting pieces of usable art.

The Grand Art Sale

Hosted and Curated by Khushii Governing Board Member, Mrs Tarana Sawhney, Member South Asia Acquisitions Committee of the Tate Modern London, and an advisor to Foundation of Indian Contemporary, The Grand Art Sale, includes some of the biggest names of the art fraternity and their one-of-a-kind works available at special discounted prices.

Arty Autos

Some of India’s most well-appreciated Artists came together to, as one may guess from the name, put an artistic twist on the auto-rickshaws of Delhi, where the popular tagline was: “Bada hoke main truck banoonga.”

IOC Junior

In this edition of India on Canvas, we give the younger generation a chance to share a canvas with some of the leading artists in India, leaving them with memories to last a lifetime and encouraging the “Leaders of Tomorrow” to appreciate the glory of India’s rich Art & Culture as well as the importance of giving back for social welfare.

It was our first step in 2006 in the Art field, that turned into giant leaps in no time, we have been fortunate to have the noble support of some of the most respected names in the Indian Art Fraternity, and now, with their the blessings and support, we share a camaraderie of mutual appreciation and respect, formed into a bond that always comes through to shine in every event of ours.
